The World's Largest Service Club Organization

LIONS CLUBS - Where There's a Need, There's a Lion

Whenever a Lions Club gets together, everyone benefits and problems get smaller.  That's because we help where help is needed around our community and around the world.  With 46,000 clubs and over 1 million members, the Lions Club International is the world's largest service club organization.  Our members do whatever is needed to help in their local communities.  Everywhere there is a Lion, there is a friend.  A friend who gives back to the community they love.

Established on March 22, 1971, the Mahomet Lions Club is proud to be celebrating over 50 years of service to the Mahomet community here in Central Illinois.  As part of the the Lions Club International, we serve in over 200 countries, in hospitals and senior centers, in regions battered by natural disaster, in schools and in eyeglass recycling centers.  Lions are at work everyday, helping the needs of their communities.

Our Mission:

To strengthen our local and global communities through services and fellowship fulfilling the Lions motto "WE SERVE".
